Canada’s lone NBA team made waves during the regular season, winning a franchise high of 56 games, eclipsing the 50 win mark for the first time in history. To go along with that feat, Kyle Lowry led the Raptors to its third straight division title, Toronto hosted the All-Star weekend for the first time and now, they will look to win its first seven game series as well.
Indiana will look to hold Toronto out of the second round, after the Washington Wizards took care of the Raptors in four last year, and the Brooklyn Nets won in seven two seasons ago. The Pacers are making a return to the playoffs after missing out last season, having made consecutive conference finals during the 2013 and 2014 edition of the post season. Paul George knows that the Raptors are a dangerous team, despite playoff woes in the past, and has made it clear that his team needs to be on the edge. "That's the scary part about it," George said. "They haven't gotten out of the first round of the playoffs in a while, so it could be a situation where they've not been in a while and they may be ready to move forward."
